What are PCI’s hours of operation?
PCI is open from 9:00am to 5:00pm.Saturday 9:00 to 1:00pm.

What is PCI’s warranty policy?
All equipment is sold with a manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise specified

Can the public buy from PCI?
Yes, and there is no need to register.

Can IT resellers buy from us?
Yes, our biggest clientele are IT resellers

How do I place an order?
PCI accepts orders via phone, fax or email. When placing an order, please indicate:
• Account # (Only if you have one)
• Order Details
Purchase order # (If necessary)
Vat # (If necessary)
• Contact Name
• Phone Number
• Collection | Delivery
• Quantity
• Payment Method

Can I add to my existing order?
Yes, you can add to an order by calling or emailing us

How can I cancel my order?
Please contact us immediately if you would like to cancel your order. If the order has not shipped you may cancel your order. After an order has shipped it is subject to PCI’sreturn policy

What forms of payment are accepted?
PCI accepts Cash, EFT, TT (for exports) as forms of payments. Master or Visa is accepted, but not at the prices published on the website.

PCI has 4 bank accounts, which do I use?
Please use your corresponding bank to do a transfer, i.e Standard bank to standard bank etc.

Where do I find PCI’s banking details?
It will be found at the bottom of your sales order, (you need to request a s/o from your salesperson)

Does PCI accept Government Purchase orders
Yes we accept Government Purchase Orders

Does PCI accept Corporate Purchase orders
Yes we accept Corporate Purchase Orders, however there will be a need for the company to fill in a credit application form for 30 day payments.

 

Shipping:

What time can an order be placed and still be shipped the same day for next day delivery?
2:00 pm is the cutoff time for orders that are placed to be shipped the same day. In some circumstances arrangements can
be made to ship after this time. Please ensure that your payment is sorted by 2pm.

Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes, a tracking number will be emailed or faxed, along with an invoice

How much will shipping cost?
Jhb costs R 55 ex vat for 50Kg’s. However, shipping costs vary depending on the weight, carrier and method used however,
PCI can provide an estimate of shipping costs or you may use your own shipper.

Does PCI offer insurance on all packages?
Yes, shipping insurance is available, if requested, on all orders at a cost of 1.5%

How do I contact PLX?
On 011-444 4070. Pls refer to your waybill tracking number.

 

Operations:

Does PCI stock inventory?
Yes, we carry most of our inventory in store, so you could collect 15 minutes after placing your order.

Is PCI a broker, a dealer, a reseller, and/or a distributor?
In the final stages of an engagement, we may act in any one of these roles.However we are either distributors or sub distributors for most of our brands.

How long does it take to have a PC assembled?
Usually 24 hours. However, should you require it sooner please speak to your sales person.

What do I bring with when collecting stock?
Sales order reference number and proof of payment.

 

Warranties:

Does all equipment come with a warranty?
Yes, there is a one year warranty on all products unless stipulated on the invoice differently. This includes parts & labour. Equipment stipulated below comes with a manufacturers warranty and must be taken to their respective vendors for warranties. We are unable to service these warranties at PCI.

What happens if a product is burnt or physically damaged?
Physical damage to any product will void the product's warranty. Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking
may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be
returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any other type of
damage sustained by irregular usage.

Does PCI pay for the return cost for defective equipment?
No, PCI does not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. PCI will employ every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle

What is your software & consumable return policy?
We do not accept any returns on software & consumables, whether opened or not. This is in line with the industry, as it opens doors for counterfeiting.
